WILSON our sailboat is in the "Top" version, and benefits from the successive improvements of the series, and in particular from elliptical appendages. FEATURES Overall length: 10.60 meters Maximum beam: 3.40 meters Draft: 1.70 meters Displacement: 4.2 tons Cast iron keel: 1.8 tons (43% ballast ratio) Mast: 13.4 meters CONSTRUCTION Dehler derives its reputation from its high manufacturing quality: • No osmosis because use of isophthalic resin • No glued deck/hull connection, everything is laminated • Construction in polyester/glass/balsa sandwich (deck and hull bottom) • Steel frame incorporating pillar, keel and chainplates • Impressive varangage PERFORMANCE This sailboat, designed by Van de Stadt, comes directly from the famous Dehler DB1 and DB2, multiple winners of the ¾ Ton Cup. The rig has been mellowed on the Dehler 34 (7/8 rig, no running backstays), but it has retained a featherweight (4.2 tonnes empty), great stiffness and a very high ballast ratio (43%). This makes her a sailboat that is easy to handle with a reduced crew, but fast at all speeds, and particularly upwind. The boat holds without forcing averages of 6 knots on long crossings. COMFORT The height under the bar is 1.85m. It's a compromise to have a fast and seaworthy sailboat (clear foredeck, wide gangways, low windage). A very light, white and mahogany interior designed by STARK, numerous ventilations in the cabins and the cockpit, a large number of storage spaces make it a pleasant and very functional sailboat for cruising and anchoring. Of course WILSON is equipped with a solar panel making it self-sufficient in energy. Departing from Balaruc-les-Bains, it's already an adventure, exploring the magnificent Etang de Thau, crossing Sète to go to the Mediterranean coast and sail towards Spain, or towards the French Riviera, Marseille, islands from Porquerolles...
