There are 4 Scansailins for 8 guests, the salon offers an additional overnight space for 2 guests, and there are 2 crew Scansailins in the bow for 2 crew members as well. While Lagoon 42 retains the main features of the new generation of Lagoons, it sports a powerful and dynamic design and you can now achieve the same sailing experience as with a mono hull. The smallest angle towards the wind is significantly diminished by moving the mast unto the back and by re-centering the weight. The open transoms and one-level living space from cockpit into the saloon is new for Lagoon and provides a nice unobstructed living area.
