About the experience
Family Trip to the Côte Vermeille...
Sea Excursion, Shared Sailing in Banyuls-sur-Mer
Please note: My boat is exclusively available for shared sailing, meaning with a captain. Therefore, please do not contact me for rental requests.
It is certified for 10 adult passengers, but I limit the number of adults to 5 plus myself for safety and passenger comfort.
If you wish to explore the Banyuls-sur-Mer & Cerbère Marine Reserve and its coastline, I welcome you aboard the Blu-Blu 66, a 7-meter boat in near-new condition, having been regularly renovated and perfectly equipped for family leisure activities, sure to delight both children and parents. It can accommodate a family of 2 adults and a maximum of 4 children, or 4 adults and 2 children plus the captain, although it is certified for 10 passengers, to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the boat's space. For other group sizes, please contact me for advice and suggestions. It offers the joy of enjoying swimming in open water with the family, freediving (also known as apnea), snorkeling (snorkeling) to observe the seabed and underwater species, with the guaranteed presence of many fish: groupers, brown meagre, sea bream, bass, white seabream, salema porgy, barracuda, saddled seabream, damselfish, starfish, etc., like in a natural aquarium. There's also the opportunity to take underwater photos in the Banyuls-sur-Mer Cerbère Marine Reserve, and to dock in pretty little coves of the Catalan Côte Vermeille, or in the superb little ports of Port-Vendres or Collioure, or in the Paulilles cove or the Bay of Peyrefite. I'm heading out to sea to introduce you to the sensations of freediving or snorkeling, which is accessible to everyone. We'll explore the magnificent underwater reserve of Banyuls-sur-Mer and Cerbère, sail along the wild coast southwards, and then anchor in Cerbère for swimming, diving, relaxing, reading, sunbathing, fishing, and lunch on the boat's table. You'll have the opportunity to pilot the boat (it's recommended to have your coastal skipper's license with you) and share my experience on all aspects of coastal navigation. Fuel is included for the trip.
The meticulously maintained boat is equipped with a GPS/fishfinder, three large lockers for belongings and coolers, a large sunpad with three cushions at the bow, a canvas sun awning covering the entire deck plus two removable sun sails, a freshwater shower for daytime use, a fold-down table for an unforgettable picnic lunch at the bow or stern, a custom-made five-step ladder for easy access to the sea and the boat, side railings for child safety, two rod holders, two pool noodles and two swim boards, two viewing buoys, an underwater telescope for viewing the marine world from the boat, masks and fins, shorty wetsuits in various sizes (please inquire), a waterproof box and two waterproof pouches, and of course, a complete and inspected safety kit including children's and adults' life jackets and a first-aid kit.
The trip is confirmed the day before, weather permitting, to ensure a great outing.
I also guarantee the care of passengers prone to seasickness, and for this reason, the boat is non-smoking.
Masks, fins, shorty wetsuits, fishing rods, and spearguns are available for loan; please contact me for details.
A customizable outing, such as a birthday celebration (with a gift included), fishing trip, spearfishing excursion, or scuba diving trip, can be arranged according to your wishes.
Please contact me through the website's messaging system.
Important: My phone number will only be given to you after booking, and if you send me yours, it will be masked.
See you soon!
