About the experience

BlackBird is a very comfortable 11-meter sailboat. It features a spacious saloon with an open-plan galley and three double cabins.

The entire sail wardrobe has just been renewed: the mainsail at the beginning of the summer, the lazy bag, and the genoa more recently; both were made from black polyester.

A new Furlex furler completes the setup. A Digital AIS transponder has also been installed. A dinghy and an electric motor are very handy for going ashore.

    Five of us boarded Claude's sailboat for a day at sea that went very well. A steady, good wind of 12 to 15 knots allowed us to reach Houat Island for lunch. We had time to dive off the boat with the children, then we headed back. Sailing in the Gulf is very exciting, and the scenery is magnificent. Claude let us take the helm whenever possible and was very attentive to ensuring our day was a success. A very good experience for us. Thank you, Claude.

Well, the lack of wind for most of the day was a little frustrating, but experiencing the tide (with a good coefficient) in the Gulf of Morbihan is an unforgettable experience. Claude is a skipper who inspires confidence. We were even "lucky" enough to participate in assisting a boat. In short, don't hesitate to go out on the Black Bird, it's a superb experience to live.
