Hello, Rumba is moored in the beautiful port of Châtillon, at the northern end of Lac du Bourget, 11 km from Aix-les-Bains. Time slots;- Weekends, Bank Holidays and "le pont" (the day that falls between a bank holiday and a weekend!);- Full day: 8 hours departing between 10:30 & 11:00 Partial day *: 6 hours departing between 10:30 & 13:00 Half day: There is no reduction in tariff for rentals of less than 6 hours even if you only want to use the boat for less time. * For a partial day with a rental duration of 6 hours it will appear when booking as a half day (4 hrs) but on weekends, bank holidays and "le pont" the rental will be for 6 hrs. Weekdays (except le pont); Full day: 8 hours departing between 10:30 & 11:00 Partial day **: 6 hours departing between 10:30 & 13:00 Half day: 4 hours departing between 10:30 & 14:00 ** 4 hrs is the default period in Scansail. For a partial day with a duration of 6 hrs please send me a message requesting this and i will send you a personalised option on the Scansail platform. Please state the desired rental start time (between the times stated above) when making a booking request as the Scansail system does not cater precisely for the time slots offered! Please note, fishing and animals are strictly forbidden on board in order to ensure the boat remains, as it is now, in perfect condition. Performance and economie..... Very economical engine but also full plenty of power for water sports with 7 people on board (as evidenced by the comments left by clients). Fuel is expensive now and the cost of fuel can be a big part of your costs when renting a boat so why waste money on gas guzzling boats when you can have everything you need needed here with Rumba! Water sports equipment available payable directly on the day..... Wakeboard: €15.00 Skis: €15.00 Jobe Onmia Multiboard: €20.00 All water sports equipment is supplied with the appropriate safety gilet. All additional services and fuel consumed is payable at the end of rental in cash please. More information..... Rumba was launched in August 2020 and is meticulously looked after as can be seen from the reviews so the boat and all the equipment is in immaculate "as new" condition. I chose to buy a Bayliner VR4 for it's wide bow design which, combined with the extra seating and storage provided by this being the outboard version, means there is more room on board than most bowriders a metre longer so the boat can comfortably accommodate 7 people plus all their kit. As a result of the wide bow the boat is stable and reassuringly easy to handle. For your comfort, Rumba is well equipped for a relaxing day exploring the lake with a removable table and sun lounger cushions and a bimini which is quick and easy to store if you prefer to catch some rays. There are 3 cigar lighter power sockets and 5 USB charging ports and a USB / Bluetooth stereo so you can plug in the food & drinks cooler (provided free of charge) and charge your phone and crank up the music if you want to party! If you are looking for a bit more action on the water, you won't be disappointed. Rumba can comfortably reach 55 km / h with the bimini up or 60 km / h without it. There is a ski / wake mast and ski and wakeboard equipment can be provided for a supplement as well as the superb JOBE Omnia Multi Position Board. A fantastic bit of kit offering 6 different ways to surf. This clever bit of kit is perfect for those who've never tried water skiing or wakeboarding as they can start in one of the more stable positions either lying or kneeling and then gently progress to different standing positions during the day. It's also equally great for experienced water sports enthusiasts looking to try something new - i promise you will be hooked once you've tried this! Please note that Rumba is for those looking for a relaxing or sporting day on the lake. It is not for fishing which is not permitted on Rumba in order to preserve the boat in perfect condition. For the same reason pets are strictly forbidden The boat is fully equipped for navigation, including all the legal safety equipment, a 40m anchor, mooring ropes and mooring fenders so you can either anchor up for a break or use one of the visitors moorings around the lake to grab some lunch in a restaurant - i'll be happy to provide recommendations for whichever you prefer. I have a stock of life jackets catering for children from 3kg up to adults over 70kg. Once you have booked i will be in touch to confirm your requirements. Fuel consumed is the responsibility of the client (calculated by the on board computer) payable directly at the end of the rental period in cash please. The engine is very economical with an average consumption of 6 to 9 l/hr for touristic use and 12 to 14 l/hr for ski/wake use (with 6 or 7 people on board). The boat and all equipment and accessories are fully cleaned and disinfected after each use. I am English and speak French and my wife is Mexican and therefore speaks Spanish as well as English and Italian fluently so between us we can welcome you and explain everything in several languages!
