We then went around to the eastern tip of the lake before having a swim in front of Chateau de Chillon and Montreux - very picturesque place for a swim. We brought a picnic lunch and had it in the boat. Another swim for us near Lausanne, then back straight across the lake and home. We are swimmers, but Pascal also takes people out fishing. Unlike some boats, there is a toilet, so at least you don't have to worry too much about that. However, it's not the most private option as it's located in the main cabin, so everyone goes on deck while you use the loo. But a lot of day-hire boats don't have a toilet at all, so this is really a bonus. If you want to get off the boat at Chateau de Chillon, Montreux, etc, make sure to check because this wasn't an option for us. It didn't matter, but it depends what you want to do, so if that's important to you, discuss the itinerary first to be sure Pascal's boat can enter those harbours.
