Description of Frédéric's sailboat
Jeanneau - Sun Kiss | 2 Cabins
Fellow future sailors... Welcome aboard our sailboat "Eclipse." A beautiful and large Sun Kiss 47 measuring 14.45m long and 4.4m wide. Its large and extremely balanced hull provides excellent stability, even in rough seas and strong winds. Whether you're a beginner, experienced sailor, or experienced sailor, come practice sailing, anchoring, and mooring techniques aboard this fast, comfortable, and well-equipped sailboat. This Jeanneau Sun Kiss dates back to 1986 and underwent a complete refit in 2023. It is perfectly suited to those wishing to learn or improve their sailing skills. Its excellent reputation is well established. Fast and safe, it's a liveaboard cruising sailboat, a "real" cruising sailboat, versatile and good-going, elegant, and spacious. Made of Kevlar-reinforced composite, it's a sturdy boat, built for the open sea. With family or friends, you'll have plenty of space to feel comfortable and safe. Whether you're sailing, sunbathing, or just relaxing, "Eclipse" will delight you and adapt to your schedule and desires! Let me introduce myself: I'm Evy. I live aboard Eclipse with Captain Fred and our young, four-year-old sailor, Antoine. We've been living and sailing on the Mediterranean for seven years. We're very familiar with this magnificent sea and its sometimes challenging weather. Antoine will be sailing with us. He's an excellent little sailor and fisherman; he was born and raised on a boat... he loves sailing and meeting new people. He's known for his big smile and kindness, whether with children or adults! So, families with young children will be welcome on board. I'll be there to help you and lend a hand to the captain if needed. My priority will, of course, be to take care of the little sailor to ensure the peace and well-being of all passengers! "Captain Fred," a trainer and former microlight pilot instructor, loves sharing his knowledge and passion with those eager to learn. For maximum comfort, we're privatizing the boat for your visit. We offer several sailing options for up to 4 people, each with a sink with hot and cold water, plus a toilet connecting the two cabins (couples with children, two couples, or friends): - A full-day charter from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - A two-day charter with one night on board - A three-day charter with two nights on board... For longer charter periods, we would like to discuss our schedule first to adapt it to your schedule. We offer "family half-board" accommodation. Lunch and drinks are at your own expense. We can offer our experience and advice on provisioning. It's best to plan "picnics" for lunch (in case you're having lunch while cruising!) Amateur (or professional!) cooks are of course welcome to share their specialties with us! :-)! A €500 deposit in an uncashed check will be required upon boarding, and will be returned at the end of the charter if there is no significant damage. A €100 fuel/cleaning fee is payable upon boarding (limited to 1 hour of engine use). For charters with overnight stays, a €50/night/person linen/cleaning/meals fee is payable upon boarding. We will anchor in the prettiest, wildest, and most sheltered coves, especially for overnight stays. If you wish to moor the boat in a port or on a paid buoy, the port fees will be your responsibility. You can explore the islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros, Levant Island, Fort Brégançon, the Giens Peninsula, Les Embiez, or any other destination within sailing distance. Everything will depend, of course, on your wishes, the duration of your chosen trip, and especially the weather. As a reminder, things to bring: Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, hats, light clothing, a picnic/drink, possibly a mask and snorkel, anti-nausea medication, and of course, your smile and good humor! A paddleboard and diving masks will be at your disposal. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, as well as any fun or original ideas ?... We welcome you aboard in advance! Don't hesitate to contact us to discuss or for any questions... See you on the water soon! Evy, Fred, and Antoine.
