My name is Laurent, and I am passionate about discovery, adventure, and meeting wonderful people in the Polynesian Islands, which I have been exploring for three years. I will take you on this magnificent and comfortable catamaran at your own pace and according to your wishes. Tahiti, Bora Bora, Maupiti, Huahine, Tahaa, Fakarava, Rangiroa, the Marquesas Islands—these are islands that inspire dreams... I will share with you the best sailing times. We will set off to meet a welcoming and kind population with a rich and vibrant ancestral history. We will introduce you to various local dishes and the fruits and vegetables of Fenua (the land). A hostess will be at your service for a culinary journey. The capacity is limited to 6 people to ensure the comfort of all crew members. Fuel is included in the rental price. [**#**] VAA is an OUTREMER 51 catamaran, renovated in 2021 and 2023 with new cruising certifications. The Outremer 51s are the worthy successors to the Outremer Dawson 49s, completely redesigned and modernized while retaining the brand's historical spirit. They are therefore lightweight, very stable, fast, and seaworthy boats. The boat is a 4-cabin version, three of which are available for your use. - One cabin with a double bed on the starboard aft side, including a separate shower and a shower/toilet in the passageway. - One cabin with a double bed on the starboard forward side, including a separate shower and a shower/toilet in the passageway. - One cabin with a double bed on the port forward side, including a shower/toilet in the passageway. There is also an outdoor shower on the starboard side, convenient for use at anchor after swimming. You can enjoy relaxing time on the trampolines, either in the sun or under the shade canopy with the provided mattresses. You can gaze at the stars and even sleep under the stars! On board, you'll find free, unlimited Wi-Fi via Starlink, numerous USB ports for charging electronic devices, and a 220V outlet. The boat is completely energy self-sufficient thanks to four large solar panels, storage batteries, and a watermaker for producing drinking water. The boat features a 2024 B&G ZEUS 3S navigation system with double the safety and navigation equipment. The sail inventory includes a 90m² square-top mainsail, a 40m² self-tacking jib, a 75m² Code 0, and a 128m² Code D (Acker Genn) sail. This catamaran is equipped with daggerboards, allowing for quick upwind sailing at a good angle. Regarding the engines, we have two 40HP Volvo outboards with sail drives and folding propellers. There is a 3.4m Highfield tender with a 15HP 4-stroke outboard motor, which can carry up to 5 people at a time. On board, we have a paddleboard, an inflatable canoe, as well as fins and snorkels. This equipment will allow you to enjoy wonderful snorkeling and discover the underwater wildlife, including parrots and turtles.
