Description of Karl's catamaran
Robertson And Caine - Leopard 48 | 4 Cabins
Welcome on board! On the WELL-MAINTAINED catamaran JONATHAN we sail through the untouched SAN BLAS ISLANDS. These beautiful palm-lined sand islands are surrounded by coral reefs and partially populated by the Guna Indians. The Guna culture is the only self-governing Indian culture in the world that survived the Spanish genocide unscathed. EXCELLENT FOOD (with local lobsters on request, ....) under sail, fine wines, Caribbean cocktails and good humor are part of our world of enjoyment that we are happy to share. The SHIP is a 15-meter-long CATAMARAN with diving compressor, divemaster, kayak, stand-up paddleboard and kite on board. The ship is very well equipped with a soda water system, drinking water maker, solar cells, steamer, tested diving bottles, 30 HP motorboat, air conditioning, generator, satellite internet, ... We SAIL, snorkel, ... if requested, we hike with a chief in the subtropical jungle and, with the permission of the indigenous people, sail legendary rivers. The CREW COUPLE consists of the co-skipper and the skipper. Both gave up their lucrative jobs to live and love the beautiful things by the water. Karl Heinz (Carlos), a trained aircraft technician, has lived on the world's oceans for over 30 years and has sailed well over 250,000 miles on catamarans. Sabine was (is) a self-employed tax consultant with a penchant for design and energy work. Both are a sensitive and competent team. At the request of individual chiefs of municipalities, we organize SOCIAL PROJECTS in the San Blas Islands (GUNA YALA). Current project: "Glasses for Guna children and albinos". We bring master opticians to remote villages at our own expense to measure the eyes of children and adults. The lenses are donated by RODENSTOCK, the frames by the company CYRCEL from Bad Duisburg. We organize the process, the companies deliver the glasses personally, directly and free of charge to Guna children and adults.

Hi, we are Sabine and Carlos. Sabine is a co-skipper, she has been sailing and diving for 30 years. She loves cooking and specializes in international and Mediterranean cuisine (also vegetarian). As a Reiki practitioner, Sabine balances body-mind-soul when needed. She has her master in Economy. In her former live she was a tax advisor, auditor, Court sworn expert and switched from her office directly into the paradise. Karl Heinz – called Carlos – is a trained aircraft technician and was a pilot of small aircarfts. He graduated in business administration. The self-made man was a motorcycle racer, extreme skier and still loves adventure. He holds a commercial Licence from US-Coast Guard and AMP (Autoridad Maritima de Panama). Sailing for over 35 years on his own Sailboats. Our Project: We are invited by the local council and bring opticians with us every year at our own expense. These opticians measure the eyesight of underprivileged children. Through a network of donors I established, the glasses are produced in Europe and given to the children free of charge during a subsequent visit. We speak fluently German, English and Spanish.
