Description of Philippe's sailboat
Gibsea - Gibsea 51 | 5 Cabins
Why charter my sailboat...??? Hello, my name is Philippe, I'll be 72 soon, and I've been sailing for 60 years – first in dinghies, racing, then at the helm of several cruising sailboats, and finally my GibSea, which I bought new at the Paris Boat Show in December 2001. My sailboat was delivered in May 2002. On its maiden voyage, I headed for Corsica! Today, it's moored in the Old Port of Golfe-Juan (06220), between Cannes and Antibes, and is maintained every year by nautical professionals (invoices available). Why choose my sailboat? Comfortable and seaworthy: Okay, true, it's not exactly new anymore, like me, it's true, but it handles waves perfectly and offers proven comfort for peaceful sailing. A tailor-made itinerary: Your adventure will begin with a stopover at the Lérins Islands (Cannes). Then, depending on the weather and your preferences, we'll head to Porquerolles, Italy, or Corsica (for 2-week rentals). A boat with a history: It's not just a sailboat, it's a travel companion that has already sailed the Mediterranean. It's ready to take you on new adventures. Availability: I rent my sailboat from May to September (as I run my guesthouse in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence during the summer). Then, in the off-season, I sail from October to the end of April. Feel free to ask me any questions – I'd be delighted to discuss practical details, itineraries, or simply share my passion for sailing! Important, very important: what does the law say? This is a bareboat charter without a skipper, so you will be the skipper, responsible for the crew and the boat. The charterer becomes the master of the maritime expedition and assumes civil and financial responsibility for the vessel. See you soon, Philippe.
