The Captain: Bertrand de Rancourt was born in 1963, he has been sailing since the age of 8. Passionate about horses, gliders, and sailboats, in 2014 he ended up choosing the sea for its poetic and soothing dimension. Creative and pedagogical, he has never competed. He preferred travel, cruises and beautiful walks together. The sailboat: LA ROCHELLE has a capacity of 11 people during the day. To sleep there for one or more nights, it can accommodate up to 6 people. holds safety approval issued by the High Maritime Affairs Authority.

Diplômé de la marine marchande C200 breveté voile, Bertrand est marin professionnel. Né en 1963, il navigue depuis l’âge de 8 ans. Il ne pratique pas la régate. Son domaine de prédilection est la croisière, le voyage et la balade en toute sécurité. Engagement bénévole : pilote zodiac pour les 20 ans du PHARE DU BOUT DU MONDE ; initiateur de la SEMAINE SOLIDAIRE DU NAUTISME 2020 à La Rochelle ; responsable du village Écoresponsable de la SEMAINE DU NAUTISME 2021. Engagement éco-responsable : Bertrand vit de manière minimaliste, il a remplacé sa voiture par un vélo équipé d’une remorque. Il ne prend plus l’avion et recherche à son rythme la manière de parvenir à vivre avec un bilan écologique neutre sans ennuyer ses passagers avec ça 🙂
