Hello, We invite you to come and discover the Var coast and its islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros, and more safely and comfortably by co-sailing (the skipper is already on board ?), on a private boat just for you. Cozy!!! Brigitte, who has thought of the relaxation often sought by a mother (and/or a partner), will take care of the cooking, meal preparation, and all onboard housekeeping (from pre-provisioning—no time wasted—to washing up...). The sailboat is a Sun Odyssey 47 CC (limited series of 12 units - 14.5 meters with a Central Cockpit). It's a robust, very well-equipped boat (refitted in 2022, 23, and 24) that sails quickly and very comfortably (13 tons). The central cockpit is really large and doesn't get in the way of maneuvering. It is sheltered by a large awning. A central cockpit also ensures the greatest comfort while sailing because you are at the center of gravity of the sailboat (much less tossed about...), elevated and protected on all four sides (the little ones are well sheltered :-). Maneuvering a sailboat is a skill that is learned "relatively" easily - If you wish, you will quickly have the boat in hand under our full responsibility (no worries) - You can become ready for a future solo charter (some have been there and are now skippering their own boats!). I can also take care of this position entirely if you wish... We love to offer our guests a quality, pleasant, safe, and comfortable boating experience. Also, we will provide you with the front of the boat, namely, the double cabin (one couple) and a side cabin (one or two adults or two or three children) as well as a dedicated bathroom with shower/WC. We reserve the back of the sailboat (with our bathroom), which we share with our sleeping cat, Dafco. This significantly reduces the overcrowding that can be unusual on a boat. We would therefore be delighted to welcome a small family (maximum 3 children) or one or two childless couples to share a sailing experience, gliding silently across the water, swimming and playing in the coves, and daydreaming at night in the magical moorings (at anchor) of this stretch of the Var coast (or beyond). The boat also features all the comfort and safety features a sailboat of this length can offer (self-sufficiency, a large teak cockpit table for dining for 7 or 8 people, fore and aft sundecks, a spacious deck, rigid stainless steel tubing exterior handrails, safety nets for children in the aft lifelines, and of course, hot water, a fully equipped galley, a generator, electric furling systems for the genoa and mainsail (Triradial Mylar for those in the know), AIS, radar, beacons, and obviously complete offshore safety equipment, etc. Depending on your stay and your group (ages, number), you should expect: A contribution for diesel (often €0 if there's a little wind) - otherwise 5l/h. A contribution for meals: sharing meals together - priced like at home because they are at the same price as purchasing food - A contribution for overnight stays and life on board. Access to all water sports is free (paddleboarding, canoeing, snorkeling…) Just a little clarification! ...there is no ashtray inside the sailboat. Let's get in touch to discuss your project…
