I built ASPRA with the mold of the famous Nastro Azzurro and with the designer Andrea Vallicelli, changing some structural elements to make the interior more comfortable and improve sailing performance. A realization cured by me personally in every detail. The hull, made of kevlar sandwich with streamlined lines, is planing, but everyone tells me that the windward angle is phenomenal ... and it's true! The carbon mast, designed by Andy Steiner, Vittorio Landolfi and Luca Repetto, has a beautiful story, which I will gladly tell you, perhaps sipping a glass of wine at sunset. Aspra has sailed a lot both in the Mediterranean and in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, is equipped with useful equipment and technologies to make it comfortable in any situation, and thanks to the watermaker, the wind generator and the solar panel, it can be really independent. I have been sailing since I was 15, first on dinghies, then as a sailing instructor, I was a professional skipper for a few years, also in the United States. After a few years of intense work as an architect, I built Aspra, with which I sailed a few times alone and a lot in company, for cruises, regattas and transfers, but what fascinates me is offshore sailing. On board I make use of the help of a sailor / instructor sometimes to guarantee my guests maximum peace of mind and the possibility of dedicating themselves if they wish, to maneuvers and life on board, according to a precise didactic path. After about 40,000 miles of navigation in the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Pacific, ASPRA is now moored in Porto Maurizio, in Imperia, a stone's throw from access to the beach, which is very convenient, because it is often pleasant to take a dip or walk on the sand before leaving the moorings or to regain contact with the land. Being moored in a port located in the center of the country not only makes it very easy to reach us, but also allows you to make use of the services that the town offers, from shops of any kind where you can buy fresh produce for the galley, to the many restaurants and to the excellent ice cream parlors, in addition to the medieval village of Parasio. Aspra is available for day trips, aperitifs at sunset, weekends and weeks, to welcome your parties or to organize your team building. The boat is sporty and essential but with everything necessary for comfortable sailing.
