Our Oceanis 40.1 is crafted to provide an exceptional sailing experience! With its innovative hull design by Marc Lombard, this 40-foot cruiser offers unmatched deck space and a spacious interior without compromising on performance. Lefkas is a beautiful island connected to the Greek mainland via a small bridge! The connection of the island with the national roadway network of Greece makes it easily accessible from wherever you are. It is the perfect spot to start your sailing vacations in the Ionian Sea! You can reach our main base by car from Athens, by Ferry through the nearby port of Igoumenitsa or by plane through the nearby airports of Corfu, Kefalonia or Preveza (Aktion/ PVK Airport is only 20 mins driving distance from Lefkas). Lefkas Mooring Spot Our mooring spot is located in Lefkas Main Port, next to the city centre and has more amenities than any classic harbour in Greece. Our berths offer dock refuel services with a truck, mobile workshop right in front the berths, mooring lines, harbour master & crew, free provision and water supply. What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, we recommend postponing your booking to a later date by coordinating with the boat owner on our Click&Boat messenger. For daily charters, you can subscribe to our Weather Guarantee insurance to be fully refunded in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. If you would like a fuel cost estimate for this boat, please contact the owner.
Do I need a license to rent this boat?
You must have a boat license to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the boat owner on the day of booking. Do not hesitate to confirm with them the type of license required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc.). Please note that it is possible to book the boat with a skipper; in which case you will not need a boat license.
In the case of problems with the boat at sea, am I insured?
All boats made available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority. Additional insurances (such as deposit waiver, assistance, etc.) may be purchased directly on Click&Boat at the time of booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Do I have the required experience to rent this boat?
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the renter's nautical resume to ensure that he or she is experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help to leave the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter.
