Welcome aboard our Aquila! Since its completion in 2024, it has offered an unparalleled vacation experience on the water, without the need for a license. On the Aquila, you'll enjoy the perfect combination of modern comfort and a natural experience. Here, you can relax from the stresses of everyday life, recharge your batteries, and unwind. A special highlight: direct access to the lake from the living room—ideal for a dip in the cool water. The boat boasts a stylish living-dining room with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding lake landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a gas stove with oven, a dishwasher, and all the necessary cooking utensils. On the spacious roof terrace, you can not only sunbathe but also enjoy the view from comfortable lounge furniture. A sunshade is also provided. Our houseboat is equipped with four solar panels on the roof terrace, which generate a maximum output of 1,600 watts. This sustainable energy source supports onboard operations and helps reduce electricity consumption from external sources. The generated energy is stored in the boat's already installed batteries, ensuring you have a reliable power supply even away from the marina. This allows you to enjoy even more independence on the water – environmentally friendly and efficient. The houseboat has two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, and the sofa in the living area can easily be converted into an additional sleeping area for two people, providing space for a total of six people. A high-quality bathroom with a shower, vanity, and toilet completes the offering. After an eventful day, you can end the evening with a glass of wine on the roof terrace or by the cozy gas fireplace. The Aquila is also equipped with Wi-Fi and two TVs. A grill is available for a sociable BBQ, and for sporting activities, stand-up paddleboards, canoes, electric inflatable boats, or bicycles can be rented from the harbormaster for a fee. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome for an additional cleaning fee. Please note: The clearance height is 3.92 m, or 5.42 m with the awning extended. Remember to fold the awning before passing under bridges or other obstacles. Due to the leisurely cruising speed, the focus of your trip will be more on exploring the surrounding nature and less on covering long distances. This offers you the wonderful opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the tranquility of the water. Boat pick-up and drop-off is possible Monday to Saturday; the marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is the Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel. Please note that our houseboats cannot navigate Lake Müritz due to restrictions. A charter license is required and can be obtained upon arrival through a 3-hour theory and practical course. The minimum age for this is 18 years, unless you have a valid inland waterway license. For guests with little boating experience, we offer optional skipper training (45 minutes, €50, minimum age 16). Please plan your arrival so that you arrive by 1:00 PM. Minimum number of people on board: For safe maneuverability and lock-through of the houseboats, at least three adults (or two adults + one competent young person) are required. For safety reasons, houseboats should remain in the marina during winds of force 2 or higher, as their construction makes them sensitive to wind. Leaving the houseboats is strictly prohibited at wind force 3.5. Fuel consumption will be billed at the end of your trip and is €4 per liter. Simply rent, board, and enjoy your houseboat vacation!
