Welcome aboard our Aquila! Since its completion in 2024, it has offered an unparalleled vacation experience on the water, no boating license required. On the Aquila, you'll enjoy the perfect combination of modern comfort and a connection with nature. Here you can escape the stresses of everyday life, recharge your batteries, and truly unwind. A special highlight: From the living room, you have direct access to the lake – ideal for a refreshing dip. The boat boasts a stylish living and dining room with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding lake landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove with oven, dishwasher, and all necessary cooking utensils. On the spacious sun deck, you can not only sunbathe but also enjoy the view from comfortable lounge furniture. Sun protection is also provided. Our houseboat is equipped with four solar panels on the roof deck, generating a maximum output of 1,600 watts. This sustainable energy source supports the onboard operation and helps reduce electricity consumption from external sources. The generated energy is stored in the boat's existing batteries, ensuring a reliable power supply even away from the marina. This gives you even greater independence on the water – environmentally friendly and efficient. The houseboat features two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, and the sofa in the living area easily converts into an additional sleeping space for two people, accommodating a total of six guests. A high-quality bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet completes the amenities. After an eventful day, you can unwind with a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace or by the cozy gas fireplace. The Aquila is also equipped with Wi-Fi and two televisions. A barbecue grill is available for a one-time fee of €55, and stand-up paddleboards or bicycles can be rented from the harbor master for a fee. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome for an additional cleaning fee. Please note: The clearance height is 3.92m, and 5.42m with the sun awning extended. Remember to retract the sun awning before passing under bridges or other obstacles. Due to the leisurely cruising speed, the focus of your trip will be more on discovering the surrounding nature and less on covering long distances. This offers you the wonderful opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the tranquility of the water. Boat handover and return are possible from Monday to Saturday; the marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg on the Havel River. Please note that due to restrictions, our houseboats cannot navigate Lake Müritz. A charter license is required and will be obtained upon arrival by completing a 3-hour course covering both theory and practice. The minimum age for this is 18, unless you already hold a valid inland waterway license. For guests with little boating experience, we offer optional skipper training (45 minutes, €75, minimum age 16). Please plan your arrival so that you are on site by 1:00 PM. Minimum number of people on board: For safe maneuverability and lock operation of the houseboats, a minimum of 3 adults (or 2 adults + 1 responsible young person) is required. For safety reasons, the houseboats should remain in the marina in winds of force 2 or higher, as their design makes them sensitive to wind. Sailing the houseboats is strictly prohibited in winds of force 3.5 or higher. Fuel consumption will be billed at the end of your trip and is €4 per liter. Alternatively, you can fill a jerrycan at a nearby gas station at the current daily rate. Simply rent, hop aboard, and enjoy your houseboat vacation!
