Description of Nikolas's sailboat
Wooden Traditional-Style Boat - 2018 | 3 Cabins
"Samsara" was originally hand-built in 1978 and was fully refitted in 2020 by the same executive craftsmen in the same shipyard in Thessaloniki. The soul of Samsara remains intact with her Iroko wood hull completely preserved and refreshed. Mahogany and pinewood touches blend the beauty of tradition with the comfort of modern luxury. 20 years ago, over 14,000 of these wooden boats were in operation in Greece. Now only couple of hundreds remain onboard with only few dozens being originally hand-restored by master craftsmen. Below deck Samara has 3 custom crafted Scansailins each of which sleep 2 people. Each Scansailin comes with a double bed to guarantee you a great night’s sleep and our master Scansailin has its own en-suite, complete with rainfall shower. There’s also a separate bathroom and modern, custom designed kitchen. In addition to perfect onboard amenities and comfort, Samsara also comes complete with its own 6 person tender boat with a 2020, 15hp mercury engine which allows you to anchor and easily explore secluded beaches and shallow waters. No boat is complete without its deck but Samsara’s is something special. With a prow-to stern lounge area, you can soak up the sun or take a break under our pop-up canopy which can be easily assembled to shelter you from the midday sun. When it’s time for lunch, we can comfortably seat 20 people at one of three tables. Afterwards, drift away with the sway of the tide in our on deck hammock. Make memories aboard Samsara, on your own private cruise. Relax for the day, exploring the numerous sandy south beaches of Mykonos, the famous beach clubs or the the calmness of the uninhabited island of Rhenia. If culture is more your thing , dive into the ancient Greek history by visiting the archeological site of Delos, the epicenter of ancient Greece. Samsara is available for private bookings and can accommodate up to 21 guests on daily cruises or 6 people for multi day experiences. Celebrate an occasion or simply get together with family and friends to visit hidden beaches, snorkel in crystal clear waters or watch the sunset with the waves as your soundtrack.
