Sofia is not only the name of our sailing boat, but also a refuge for an adventurous, sustainable life, in contact with nature and free from today's frenetic pace. We are Matteo and Eleonora, a couple passionate about sailing, and Alessandro has also been with us for a few months. Matteo, the commander, is a sailing instructor, passionate about cooking, sailing with crystal clear water and snorkeling. Eleonora is a Yoga, Pilates and Acrobatics instructor. Passionate about trekking, she also loves to venture out to discover the villages where Sofia lands. Alessandro is a world explorer of a few months, seeing the world through his eyes allows you to rediscover the value of every little thing. He loves company and gives therapeutic smiles to everyone he meets. Sofia is a cruising sailboat that allows for quiet and comfortable navigation, our guests will have the opportunity to live unforgettable experiences in total relaxation while sailing in the Tuscan Archipelago to discover the islands that compose it and their wonders. Sailing around the Tuscan Archipelago is like sailing between precious "Treasure" islands: each island offers different emotions, each island invites you to be discovered to reveal its natural and historical "treasures" to those who land by boat. For weekend sailings it is possible to visit the island of Elba, for daily sailings the Tuscan coasts such as the Gulf of Baratti and witness spectacular sunsets at anchor while admiring the sun diving into the sea. San Vincenzo is a cheerful tourist resort with clubs, shops, and walks along the seafront and within the pine forests. Our advice is always to take advantage of the night service on board, so that you can arrive the evening before, settle in calmly, take a walk in San Vincenzo and leave the moorings early in the morning rested. Available for our guests on Sofia there are 2 double bedrooms, a bedroom with 2 bunk beds, a sofa in the dinette which converts into a double bed. A private bathroom. The crew has another double bedroom with bathroom at their disposal. ANIMALS ON BOARD We are animal lovers, but at the moment we do not feel like hosting dogs and/or cats on Sofia because we do not believe we can manage their presence in an optimal way for their well-being and respecting their needs. SMOKERS The use of traditional cigarettes is prohibited on Sofia. It is dangerous to smoke near the sails and below deck due to the risk of fire. With the wind if the ash gets in your eyes it burns and If cigarette butts fall into the sea they terribly pollute our wonderful seas. It is possible, with regard to non-smokers, to use electronic cigarettes only outdoors and "downwind" compared to others. Do not hesitate to contact us for any doubts or curiosities!
