The name of this ship is EVANGELINA UNO and it was built in 1912 in the port of Freixo in the Noia estuary and baptized upon launching with the name “LETROISI”. In 2007 it was restored again. This boat is 18.70 meters long, 5 meters wide and 1.65 meters deep, it is wooded with two masts built in the style of the time and square sails, also made of common materials. In the 1960s it was dismasted to work only by motor as a bateeiro boat. The restoration of this ship has been very careful and traditional, in fact the sail rigging is tied without using steel rings or cables. The Evangelina Uno is possibly one of the few vessels still afloat from its time. We are currently sailing to show all the cultural and natural wealth of the Vigo estuary.
