Description of Lucas's houseboats
Nautikhus - Namitz - Hns | 3 Cabins
Enjoy dreamy hours and magical moments on the water, independent and far away from everyday life, on our heated houseboat NautikHus. The island of Töplitz is surrounded by the waters of the Havel River and is located 6 km from the flower-filled town of Werder. It is 10 km to Potsdam, and 40 km to the center of Berlin. The NautikHus is equipped with two berths, a toilet and shower, and a saloon with a galley. A 10 m² covered terrace at the bow with a lounge set invites you to linger. Depending on the weather, the saloon can be extended with the tarpaulin, providing optimal protection from wind and weather. There is also a narrow terrace with a bench at the stern. Our NautikHus is 10 m long and 4 m wide, offering a comfortable interior and easy maneuverability in harbors and locks. Located just outside Berlin, the Potsdam and Brandenburg Havel Lakes water sports area stretches across approximately 200 km of navigable waters, offering excellent conditions for a boating holiday. The Lower Havel River connects over 40 lakes along its route between Berlin, Potsdam, and the city of Brandenburg. Where else are UNESCO World Heritage sites and untouched nature so close together? Our houseboat can be booked with a minimum stay of 7 nights (otherwise 5 nights) during peak season with a boating license (SBF Binnen). Boating instruction costs €50 for newcomers. If you don't have a boating license, you can receive theoretical and practical instruction on how to operate our houseboat before setting sail. The charter license entitles you to navigate the designated charter license area from the Glienicke Bridge downstream to the Göttinsee on the Sacrow-Paretz Canal for the duration of your rental. The charter license course lasts approximately 3 hours and costs €110 (and includes a €50 boat instruction session for houseboat novices). If wind speeds exceeding 5 Bft are expected, you may not leave a harbor or must immediately head for the nearest harbor. The dominant river in Brandenburg is the Havel, which rises north of Berlin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, then meanders gently south and northwest, flowing into the Elbe near Havelberg. It connects Brandenburg/Havel, Potsdam, and Berlin and is the heavily used northern link to Lake Müritz, the Mecklenburg Lake District, and Schwerin.
