About the experience

Experience the unique lagoon landscape around Stralsund aboard our stylish steel boat. At 12 meters long and 4 meters wide, the boat offers plenty of space to relax, enjoy the scenery, and unwind.

At a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 10 km/h, we glide peacefully through the tranquil waters of the Strelasund and the Western Pomeranian lagoon landscape. This trip isn't about speed, but rather about experiencing nature, relaxation, and a maritime atmosphere.

From Stralsund, we explore the charming lagoon waters with their extensive reed beds, small islands, and sheltered bays. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the coastal landscape, sailboats, and the unique natural beauty of Western Pomerania. The lagoon waters are among the most beautiful and tranquil areas on the German Baltic coast.

A special highlight of the day trip is anchoring in a peaceful bay. There's plenty of time for:

* Swimming in the clear water
* Sunbathing on the deck
* Relaxing and unwinding
* Barbecuing on board
* Enjoying a sundowner with breathtaking views

While the boat is gently anchored, you can experience the unique tranquility of the Bodden lagoon, observe water birds, or simply let your mind wander. The protected Bodden waters are known for their natural atmosphere and idyllic anchorages.

Whether with friends, family, or as a special experience for two – this day trip uniquely combines maritime enjoyment, nature, and relaxation.

Why this boat?

A few years ago, I fulfilled my dream of owning my own boat. Not because I always wanted to be a sailor, but because I wanted to experience the world from a completely different perspective.

For many years, my motorcycle was my faithful companion. On two wheels, I explored large parts of Europe, traveled through the vastness of Africa, and experienced the fascinating landscapes of New Zealand. The feeling of freedom, adventure, and spontaneous discoveries always accompanied me.

But at some point, the desire arose to travel more slowly. No longer to cover hundreds of kilometers every day, but to perceive my surroundings more consciously. Not just to traverse the landscape, but to become a part of it.

That's how the boat came into my life.

Our 12-meter-long and 4-meter-wide houseboat offers exactly this kind of travel. Gliding along at a leisurely 10 km/h, we cruise through the waters around Stralsund and the Bodden lagoon. Instead of traffic noise, you hear the gentle lapping of the water; instead of crowded rest stops, you'll find tranquil bays, reed beds, and breathtaking sunsets.

I especially love the moments when we drop anchor in a quiet bay. Then there's time for swimming, barbecuing, relaxing, or simply letting nature work its magic. It's precisely these moments that I want to share with my guests today.

Every trip is a little adventure for me – no longer on two wheels, but on the water. And perhaps you, too, will discover the world from a completely new perspective.

"I used to travel through Europe, Africa, and New Zealand by motorcycle – now I'm on the water. The freedom remains, only the speed has changed."
