About the experience
I'm Pierre-Yves Hemard, a sailing enthusiast since my childhood in Saint-Tropez and founder of Yachting Day. With my extensive experience as a regatta sailor, captain, and boat rental and maintenance specialist, I invite you to experience an exceptional day at sea. Aboard Skippy One, my 2021 Cap Camarat 12.5 WA equipped with three 300-horsepower engines, you'll enjoy optimal comfort and remarkable performance. Thanks to my in-depth knowledge of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and Cavalaire, I'll show you the most beautiful anchorages and hidden gems of the region in a friendly and safe atmosphere. Embark with Yachting Day for an unforgettable experience, combining pleasure, discovery, and authenticity.
THE BOAT:
The reputation of Cap Camarat boats speaks for itself; this boat's hull is built to handle the sea! At 12 meters long, making it the flagship of the range, and powered by a 900-horsepower engine, it will reach top speeds of 41 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 30 knots.
The boat is equipped with all the latest navigation technologies, including the renowned "Seakeeper" stabilizer, and all the necessary safety equipment for a worry-free voyage.
Inside:
The boat's interior comprises an aft cabin with a double bed (140x190 cm) and a single bed (80x190 cm). There is also a bathroom with a shower and electric toilet. The main saloon converts into a double bed. The galley includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink, stovetop, kettle, and coffee maker.
Entertainment and Comfort:
The boat is equipped with a high-end Bluetooth music system with speakers on the foredeck, at the helm, on the aft deck, and in the master cabin. Plenty to satisfy your musical desires!
The foredeck and aft decks can be fully shaded and are also modular. Choose the layout that suits you best: a lounge area, a beautiful dining table that comfortably seats six, or a large sunbathing area. Enjoy the attractive outdoor galley to enhance your meals, the convenient access to refrigerators, sinks, and an ice maker to perfect your aperitifs, and an outdoor television so you don't miss any of the must-see events, even while on board!
The side platform also extends your living space at anchor and adds a touch of excitement to your swims.
THE SURROUNDINGS:
Neighboring the Gulf of St. Tropez, nestled between the sea and the hills, opposite the Îles d'Or (Golden Islands), the town of Cavalaire has many advantages to charm you!
In the immediate vicinity of all the most famous anchorages in the area, whose reputation precedes them, the port of Cavalaire is the ideal starting point for all your excursions. Gigaro, Cap Lardier and its wonders, or the Bay of La Bastide Blanche are about 15 minutes away by boat. Just beyond, the Ramatuelle coastline will captivate you with the renowned bays of L'Escalet and Pampelonne. Finally, it will take you about 40 minutes to reach the port of St. Tropez. The Bay of Cavalaire does not experience the constant bustle of the Gulf of St. Tropez during the high season, making sailing much more pleasant and providing more direct access to the main points of interest mentioned above. Finally, the port of Cavalaire is just a 20-minute sail from Port-Cros Island and about 45 minutes from Porquerolles Island, whereas it will take you more than twice as long from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. So don't hesitate if you fancy a crossing!
Enjoy Skippy One for a family outing or a trip with friends. Have lunch on board or be dropped off at one of the beach restaurants of your choice; we'll organize your day to your liking. Don't wait any longer!
