About the experience

Aluminum sailboat designed by Gilles Vaton in 1985 for the Whitbread Round the World Race. A very fast sailboat suitable for both regattas and cruising.
The boat is based in Sète but can be moved to another port depending on demand.
Ideally, the boat is chartered with a skipper/assistant, but it can also be chartered without a skipper, though a one-day familiarization session is included.

We spent six days on Sea Medics. Erick has exceptional sailing experience! We encountered a few technical issues (the tender's outboard was very unstable, among other things), but our family of seven appreciated our host's flexibility, adapting the program day by day according to the weather and our wishes.
