The Gaiola underwater park is one of Naples' most evocative spots, located at the foot of Posillipo Hill. It is a marine area protected by an interministerial decree, and access is permitted only by environmentally friendly boats, such as rowing, sailing, or electric motor boats.
The area is not only of great archaeological importance due to its many Roman-era artifacts, but also of great biological importance, with a rich and diverse biological community that today fills this little jewel of the Neapolitan coast with life and color.
