Hello, I am offering my Jeanneau Gin Fizz sloop sailboat for charter, departing from Le Crouesty (56). The only 12-meter sailboat with a separate aft cabin! This is a fully renovated "round-the-world" cruising sailboat. It features a new 42 hp Mitsubishi inboard engine (August 2020), a hull painted in 2022, a shaft line and three-bladed propeller replaced in 2024, and a separate aft cabin renovated in 2025. It accommodates 6 people for offshore sailing and 8 people for coastal cruising. There are three cabins, including a separate aft cabin. As an owner's boat, it is fully equipped for independent offshore sailing and has all modern comforts, including a galley with oven, accessories, and cooking utensils. Safety equipment is also included, including an integrated GPS beacon. 135W solar panel, shore power charger, electric windlass with 2 remote controls, fixed VHF radio with AIS receiver and Wi-Fi transmitter for tablet and mobile VHF connection, onboard GPS with tablet power outlets, Tacktick electronics, Raymarine integrated autopilot, Vion barograph, refrigerator, hot water via heat exchanger on the engine and 220V shore power, integrated Webasto diesel heater, USB ports for smartphone charging. New mainsail (2026). New furling genoa (2025). Profurl genoa furler (2020). Rigging inspected in February 2022 (sailboat ready for a round-the-world voyage!). Spinnaker with sock and staysail on removable forestay. Teak cockpit table, folding. Bimini top and sprayhood. The interior of the sailboat is spacious. You will have three double cabins at your disposal. This sailboat is ideal for cruising offshore with 6 people or coastal sailing with 8. It is designed for 8 to 10 people, but equipped for 6 for optimal comfort. Sleeping accommodations for 8. Departing from Le Crouesty, several superb destinations are immediately accessible. You can set sail for the islands of Houat, Hoëdic, Belle-Île-en-Mer, Groix, Lorient, Concarneau, or the Glénan archipelago. Or head south to reach the Île d'Yeu via Noirmoutier and perhaps enjoy a scenic stop on the Vilaine River, after the Arzal lock. Opportunities for offshore cruising to Spain (Gijón, La Coruña, etc.), Portugal, or even the Canary Islands. Feel free to contact me via email at Click&Boat. See you soon, Jean-Louis

About me

Always attracted by wide open spaces, the sea and the sky. Air and water have many similarities and constitute for me the same passion. Became a glider and light aircraft pilot at a very young age, then dinghy experience before acquiring my first keelboat that I rehabilitated before moving on to more sophisticated models. Today, Alter Ego is my 4th (and probably last...) boat. I put my experience of nearly 40 years of navigation, a little sweat ... and above all a lot of passion that I like to share.

Frequently asked questions
What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is better to postpone the booking and agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. Please contact the owner if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.
Do I need a licence to rent this boat?
You do not need a boating licence to book this boat. However, you may be asked for an ID on the day of the rental.
Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?
All boats available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority. Additional insurances (such as deposit waiver, assistance, etc.) may be purchased directly on Click&Boat at the time of booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer's nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner via the message board.
