This is a long-term bluewater project that combines offshore sailing, ocean passage planning, and real-life experience of extended cruising. Both of us are Chilean Yacht Masters (Capitanes de Alta Mar) with more than 9,000 nautical miles sailed, including the complete crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is better to postpone the booking and agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?

Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?
All boats available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority.
