Janabel è una prestigiosa imbarcazione da regata oceanica, costruita nel 1951 in Francia presso il cantiere Jouet su disegno dell'Architetto Cornu' e interamente restaurata presso il cantiere Sangermani di Lavagna nel 1993/94. Negli anni '50 Janabel regato' tra Francia e Gran Bretagna, attraversò l'Atlantico e partecipò alla regata delle Bermuda conquistando il terzo posto in classifica. Lo scafo è in triplo fasciame di mogano incrociato, chiodato in rame, su ordinate di quercia e acacia....lo "stradivari" del mare. Oggi Janabel è ormeggiata nel porticciolo turistico" La Cala" di Palermo, ad un passo dal centro storico e da vari punti di interesse artistico-culturali, in una città eletta a capitale della cultura 2018. Abbiamo incominciato a condividere Janabel con turisti e viaggiatori nella primavera del 2017 un po' per curiosità....i giudizi entusiasti dei nostri ospiti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, ci hanno spinto a fare dell'ospitalità un bellissimo lavoro, seguito con passione e professionalità da Sergio che accoglie con entusiasmo e si diverte a far sì che gli ospiti condividano con lui l'amore per la città in cui vive e per le magnifiche coste siciliane. La barca può ospitare fino a quindici persone per escursioni giornaliere con brunch a bordo a base di Street Food Siciliano e perché no un buon aperitivo al rientro in porto con tante bollicine. Altrimenti può ospitare fino a cinque persone per effettuare un charter con pernottamento.Le isole Eolie, Cefalu e le isole Egadi sono le mete preferite. Nelle tariffe giornaliere non sono compresi: skipper, hostess e Street Food Siciliano con bevande. I prezzi per il pernottamento sono per 5 persone e inclusivi di colazione, sconti disponibili per gruppi più piccoli. Quando la barca è ormeggiata in porto è disponibile wifi gratuito e illimitato. A bordo ci sono 4 cabine di cui le 3 sono a disposizione degli ospiti, la quarta sarà usata dallo skipper. In the 1950s Janabel raced between France and Great Britain, crossed the Atlantic and took part in the Bermuda regatta, taking third place in the rankings. The hull is made of triple crossed mahogany planking, nailed in copper, on frames of oak and acacia... the "stradivarius" of the sea. Today Janabel is moored in the "La Cala" tourist port of Palermo, a stone's throw from the historic center and various points of artistic-cultural interest, in a city elected capital of culture 2018. We began sharing Janabel with tourists and travelers in the spring of 2017, a bit out of curiosity....the enthusiastic reviews of our guests from all over the world pushed us to make hospitality a beautiful job, followed with passion and professionalism from Sergio who welcomes with enthusiasm and enjoys ensuring that guests share with him the love for the city in which he lives and for the magnificent Sicilian coasts. The boat can accommodate up to fifteen people for daily excursions with brunch on board based on Sicilian Street Food and why not a good aperitif upon returning to port with lots of bubbles. Otherwise it can accommodate up to five people for an overnight charter. The Aeolian Islands, Cefalu and the Egadi Islands are the favorite destinations. The daily rates do not include: skipper, hostess and Sicilian Street Food with drinks. Prices for accommodation are for 5 people and include breakfast, discounts available for smaller groups. When the boat is moored in the port, free and unlimited wifi is available. There are 4 cabins on board, 3 of which are available to guests, the fourth will be used by the skipper.
