Description

The Quicksilver 675 Open is a sporty, award-winning day boat, first launched in 2011 and voted Best Boat of the Year at that year's European Powerboat of the Year awards — a reputation built on its clever mix of style, safety and ease of use. Based in Tar, on Croatia's Istrian coast, at the Lanterna marina, this boat is a great match for anyone wanting a fun, easy-to-handle ride along one of the Adriatic's most beautiful stretches of coastline. On board, the versatile bow area can be quickly switched between a sun lounge, a dining spot or extra seating, while a pivoting backrest at the helm makes it easy to move straight through to the swim platform for a dip whenever the mood strikes. A small cabin offers a sheltered spot to stow bags or let one person rest out of the sun, and the boat's compact size (6.7 metres) makes her simple to handle for a crew of up to 8. Powered by a Mercury outboard engine, she offers plenty of pep for covering ground along the coast without sacrificing the comfort of a stable, well-mannered ride. Whether the plan is a relaxed cruise around the bays near Tar, a swim stop in a quiet cove, or simply a fun afternoon on the water, the Quicksilver 675 Open combines a sporty look with genuinely practical features, making her an easy, enjoyable choice for exploring this part of the Istrian coast. Frequently asked questions
What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is better to postpone the booking and agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. Please contact the owner if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.
Do I need a licence to rent this boat?
You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the owner on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm with the owner the type of licence required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc...). Please note that it is possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.
Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?
All boats available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority. Additional insurances (such as deposit waiver, assistance, etc.) may be purchased directly on Click&Boat at the time of booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer's nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner via the message board.
