We have experienced numerous problems from the very beginning that have prevented us from enjoying our stay as we expected, and we would like to share these before filing our formal complaint. To begin with, 20 hours before boarding, we were informed that we had to embark and disembark at Es Xarco, a different cove and 30 minutes away by car from the one indicated in our reservation (Talamanca Beach). This caused us a problem since we had arranged all our logistics on land around the embarkation/disembarkation point. We had to cancel our reservations at Talamanca Beach for the first and last day and find alternatives at the last minute. On the day of embarkation, we had to wait an hour for taxis to pick us up and take us to Es Xarco because no taxi driver wanted to take us to this cove, as it is difficult to get down to. In fact, the taxi that did take us dropped us off quite far from the embarkation point. This also caused problems when booking taxis on land in Ibiza. They refused to pick us up from Es Xarco cove when we went ashore, forcing us to wait in the sun or late into the night. Furthermore, the captain arrived 30 minutes late for boarding. We hadn't been informed that we should expect the captain to provide meals on board, which also created a food problem, as we had calculated the quantities for ourselves without considering the crew. This resulted in us running out of food and water on the last day. The fact that we couldn't sail at night and had to give the captain eight continuous hours of sleep caused problems for our plans, as we had to adjust the boat's departure and arrival times to the night or early morning. When we initially outlined the trip plan, there were no issues; however, once on board, we had to keep making modifications and canceling stops to accommodate the captain's requirements. We found it unprofessional that the captain was the last to wake up, leaving us all waiting for him to go to the cove we had agreed to visit the day before. Not to mention the fact that he drank alcohol during the service. Another issue that bothered us was when we had to pick up the last person on our reservation, who arrived at 9 pm. The captain then drove one of us to a roundabout near the airport and didn't return until an hour and a half later. So, the two of us were left alone at the roundabout until 10:30 pm. The worst part of the experience came when the captain invited other people onto the boat without asking us beforehand if we minded. We were also annoyed that he took our food and drank our beers without asking permission. We would like to clarify that we have no problem preparing meals and cleaning the captain's dishes; we consider it a logical and appropriate part of living together. However, demanding this as a minimum requirement when we were not informed of anything and are the customers on vacation seems unfair. Similarly, responses like "I'm in charge here because I'm the captain" to our suggestions, when we paid for a tailor-made vacation within reasonable limits, seem below the standard of service promised. We have noticed a significant lack of communication between you and the captain, resulting in lost information that has directly impacted us, the customers. A clear example is that the agency informed us there were no bookings after ours and that we could disembark at 1:00 PM, but the captain told us we had to disembark at 9:00 AM because he had a booking the following day, which severely disrupted our plans for Sunday. I believe all of these are more than enough reasons to consider this booking a poor service, especially since we were always the ones modifying our plans and adapting to the requirements given to us, instead of the other way around. Having paid for the service to be on vacation, I believe we should have been given options, not obstacles. For all these reasons, I would not recommend booking this boat or any other you offer.
