About the experience

During the trip we will visit the   islands of Thodorou and Lazareta.

Leaving from the Venetian Old Port of Chania ,we need just 15 min to reach Theodorou
(also known as the Kri-Kri island). A Natura 2000 protected area, the island is home to Crete’s wild Kri Kri goats and some amazing natural landscape. As soon as we anchor you can swim, enjoy the boat and the sun and take pictures as the area offers the perfect background.


After that, we head to some amazing caves and an aircraft wreck from the World War ll, which is visible from the surface of the sea. Next stop on our trip is the beautiful island called Lazareta with its small isolated beach.This is also an amazing chance for snorkeling since there are plenty of fish around.

Prices include skipper and host services , beverages ( soft drinks, beers & water ) , snacks,  snorkeling equipment, a SUP, towels and taxes . Full lunch/ dinner can be served for an additional charge during all tours. Our cruises are  totally private.

The 200€ fuel fee is not included in the price and is paid on the day of the tour directly to our captain.

    Fantastic! The boat is wonderful, in excellent condition despite its age. The skipper was very communicative and responsive… he completely accommodated our wishes. There were drinks on board, including cold beer, and the whole family of seven was delighted. I recommend it to everyone.

    We had a great day with Chania Boat Tours and the team of Stavros, Antonis and Georg. We booked a six hour tour from the Venetian Harbour to the islands Thodorou & Lazareta on the 14m motorboat Apollo. The boat is really cool. the islands and the sea are a nice place to see and enjoy yourself. Maybe even more important, the team is very kind, knowledgeable and flexible. Even though we had to manage rough weather conditions, they found a flexible and fair way to make the tour happen and enable a great trip. So bottom line, thumbs up and full recommendation from our side.

    Our trip on Stavros's 2006 Sarnico 43 boat was fantastic. Great communication from Stavros in advance. The crew of Antonis and George couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, and made sure we had a good experience. We were well looked after in terms of refreshments too. Snorkels and SUP were provided so made for a great afternoon out around the islands and finished off with the sunset before returning the Chania port. Thank you for a great experience.

    A fab day had by all 8 of us. The boat was perfect for our 2 families and the snorkels and paddle board helped to keep us all busy in the water when anchored in the beautiful bays. The lunch was perfect and delicious and the drinks were welcome throughout to cool us down. Only tweaks to make it 5 all round would be to make sure there was toilet roll and to have more water for the shower for rinsing off the salt water. Communications prior to the day were excellent and the host was welcoming. We’d recommend this boat to friends without question. An amazing chilled and fun day on a lovely boat. Thank you.
